Raid is not only a challenge during the 3 stages but regarding logistics, it can also be challenging since every runner is expected to organize their stay and transportation to and from the races. The following information is the most important and should be taken into account when organizing your logistics.

Where Should I Fly Into Salta o Jujuy?

Regarding Logistics it does not matter where you fly into could be either Salta or Jujuy.
Those who get to Salta will be closer to the start of the event, but once the event is over in the 3rd stage in Salinas Grandes they will have to travel back to Salta. For those who travel to Jujuy, it will be the opposite, they would have to travel to Salta for the Packet pickup and Stage 1 but at the end of the race they would be closer to the Jujuy airport.
Keep in mind that from Salinas to the Salta Airport it is a 4-hour drive.

Thursday, April 24th: In Salta.

Recommended Hotel: Alejandro I

Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26

At the end of Stage 1, move to Jujuy and stay in:
1. Purmamarca
2. Tumbaya
3. Maimará
4. Tilcara

How to Get There?

The most viable option is traveling by your own or rented car. Another alternative is to contact a transport agency, but in most cases, this is for larger groups and you have to keep in mind the overall wait time to complete the vehicles.

How to get to the Second Race?

Option 1: Taxi or Bus from Purmamarca.

Will be available from 6:45am Terminal of Omnibus of Purmamarca.

Option 2: In your car. Then, to retrieve it, you will have to go from Purmamarca by Taxi or bus.

Location of the Taxi Service: Purmamarca Bus Terminal.

¿Cómo llegar a la Largada 3?

Start and Finish: Salinas | Location: See on Google Maps

The start and end of the race are in the same place, therefore in this stage, you will not have to go and retrieve your car from the last location.

It is highly recommended to arrive 1 hour before the start.

The time of travel from Purmamarca is approximately 1 hour and 30 min.

Parking: Will be managed by the Salinas Communities. Please note that you will need to bring cash to pay for parking; cards are NOT accepted.
